Create your own custom Desert Eagle (Deagle) skin for Counter-Strike 2 directly in your browser. The Deagle is the most iconic hand cannon in the game, and its massive metal slide offers a unique canvas for designers. Paint directly onto the real 3D model, test your ideas instantly, and export a file that is completely ready for the Steam Workshop. No complex 3D software is required.

The Desert Eagle is a massive .50 caliber pistol, and its physical shape completely dictates how you must design for it. When a player holds the weapon in-game, the large metal slide (the top half of the gun) makes up almost the entire skin. Because the player’s hand covers the grip during normal gameplay, the slide is where all the focus goes.
Because the slide is essentially one large, flat block of metal, there is very little room to hide mistakes. On rifles, you can hide rough transitions inside complex geometry, but on the Deagle, every detail is fully exposed.
To succeed with a Deagle design, consider these approaches:
To ensure your Deagle skin looks exactly as you intended in the CS2 engine, you must follow Valve’s technical specifications:
| Resolution | 2048 × 2048 pixels. |
|---|---|
| File format | Uncompressed TGA (Targa). |
| Wear mapping | The CS2 engine applies wear to sharp edges first. The Deagle has incredibly sharp 90-degree angles all along the top slide. When the float value drops, these edges will lose their paint very quickly. Keep this in mind when placing important details near the top edges. |
The easiest way to start is by using the Deagle Skin Maker. Select the weapon, apply your base colors, and paint your design directly onto the 3D model to see how it looks on the slide. The editor handles the UV layout automatically, so you do not have to guess where the slide ends and the grip begins. When you are done, export your TGA file.
Yes. You can paint directly on the 3D model using our free browser editor, which allows you to export the required TGA file without downloading Blender.
The correct resolution for a Deagle skin texture in CS2 is 2048 × 2048 pixels.
The top slide is the most critical area. It makes up almost the entire visible surface of the weapon during normal gameplay, while the grip is mostly hidden by the player’s hand.
Because the slide is a large, flat surface, there is very little room to hide design mistakes or rough transitions. Your linework must be very clean.
